Biography

Dr. Nikola Zivkovic was born on January 2nd, 1970. in Niš, Republic of Serbia. He finished elementary and high school in Belgrade.

He enrolled in undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade. In 1997, he graduated at the Department for Process Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade.

He defended his master's thesis entitled "Two-phase flow in the mill channel with shutters in order to implement plasma system for combustion stabilization on thermal power plant “Nikola Tesla” - A, 210 MW, in 2008, at the Department for Process Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade.

His doctoral dissertation entitled "Regenerative processes of removing of sulfur dioxide from flue gases - selection and determination of thermo-physical properties of new solvents and their mixtures and process modeling" was defended in 2015, at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. Chemical engineering department.

In the period from 1998 to 1999, Nikola Živković was employed in  "Intersilver" company, Zemun, as an engineer in the R&D department. From 1999, until today, Nikola Živković has been employed at the “Vinča” Institute of Nuclear Sciences, University of Belgrade, National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, Laboratory for Thermal Engineering and Energy.
