Biography

  • Born on 22 August 1969 in Belgrade, Serbia
  • Graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department of Technical Physics, 1996
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, 1999
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, 2004
  • PhD at the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA de Lyon) in Lyon, France, 2008
  • Associate of the Institute of Nuclear Sciences VINČA, Laboratory for Thermal Engineering and Energy since 1996
  • Research experience: The study of thermophysical properties of solid materials - thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity of uniform and composite materials; specific heat capacity, specific electrical resistivity, total hemispheric and normal spectral emissivity of solid electro-conductive materials; thermal contact resistance between layers; heat conduction; inverse approach and parameter estimation
  • Professional services: secondary and industrial thermometry; secondary and industrial hygrometry; calibration of thermostatic and climatic chambers; laboratory management according to ISO/IEC 17025
  • Granted by French government scholarships for the professional development at the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA de Lyon) in Lyon, France
  • Author of many scientific papers published in international and national journals and presented at international and national conferences

  • Managed the accreditation of two laboratories according to ISO/IEC 17025: MLTV (Laboratory for temperature and humidity calibration in 2007) and LTFO (Laboratory for thermophysical properties measurements in 2011)
  • Actual supervisor of three PhD students
  • Member of the Institute VINČA Management Board from 2010 to 2014 (elected and proposed by the Institute’s Scientific Council)
  • Member of the Working Group for Thermophysical Quantities of the Technical Committee for Temperature of the European Association of National Metrology Institutes (EURAMET) from 2013
